DEVELOPMENT/MASS PRODUCTION OF DRIVE DIVICES

Matex designs the optimal planetary gear and electric actuator considering the balance between performance and cost by combining various materials and processing methods. Our series from determining the specifications (including selection of materials and processing methods) to careful examination in installation bring us good reputations from our valued customers.

Lifting units for air conditioner is just an example. We proceed all processes from design to mass-producing, not only motor selection or designing planetary gear unit, but also designing of friction clutch mechanism and plastic box casing, material selection and examination of mold structure.

We design and develop planetary gear which meets requests from each customer, such as for electric wheel chair, motor roller, automatic opening-closing toilet seat. Responding to the request to produce non-magnetic planetary gear for medical equipment, we　carefully evaluated and decided the non-magnetic materials and processing method for each parts, and finally we commercialized it with sufficient performance.

We are also keen to develop new technology in collaboration with other companies and universities, not limited to in-house development.

With collaboration of engineers both from us and customers, we are striving after commercialization of ever more unique and original drive devices and mechanical units for the next generation.

Since the demand of service robot has been rapidly expanding, we are actively working on the development of new products entering such fast-growing industry.

Additionally, we are working hard on application study and improvements of our standard existing products in terms of shortening term of the work, cost down and improvement in product qualities.
